Under the terms of this agreement, P.A. Covenant AC will be in charge of managing the following aspects of the Resort :

Security of the Resort :

“In order to provide vigilance that can prevent possible crimes in the Resort” Covenant will organize the security of the development that will act as “auxiliary and complementary to the function of Public Security for the benefit of the integrity” of the goods and people who live in the Resort.

Covenant “will control access to the Resort, checking at all times the vehicles and people entering and leaving the Resort, taking all the necessary security measures” to achieve its objective.

On the other hand, the Municipality undertakes to respond in a timely manner to the call of Covenant, or of its surveillance personnel “when they report events that may constitute a crime, administrative offenses or for transgressions of the Traffic Regulations of the Municipality of Solidaridad.”

Garbage collection :

“The Municipality undertakes to carry out and guarantee the collection of garbage; both in homes and shops around the Puerto Aventuras Tourist Complex, and transfer it to the municipal dump ”. Covenant will monitor the proper compliance of garbage collection within the Resort. The municipality sent a new truck to Puerto Aventuras this week for this purpose.

Buildings :

As an essential requirement for the issuance of a License to build within Puerto Aventuras, the Fideicomiso Technical Department will approve the projects that comply with the Puerto Aventuras Resort Construction Regulations and Covenant will monitor the execution of the work so that they comply with the same.

Payment of property tax :

Covenant undertakes to collaborate with the Municipality, so that all owners pay the property taxes that correspond to them within the terms established in the Law. To fulfill this objective, Covenant will make available to the Municipality a payment point in its office at the beginning of the collection period.

The State Authority in Puerto Aventuras is the Municipality of Solidaridad. With this agreement, it is clear that P.A. Covenant AC is the only Puerto Aventuras Residents Association that has the support of the Municipality of Solidaridad and has legal powers of administration within Puerto Aventuras.

No other association of residents has this recognition by the authorities of the State, so it does not make sense to pay maintenance fees to another association that does not have the recognition of the Municipality, nor the legal powers within the Resort.
